About us:

We are Vancouver Island's only outdoor, adventure and recreation magazine catering to the island's eco-tourism industry. Wild Coast Magazine is distributed across Vancouver Island and at key gateway locations four times per year. Download us, find us at select newstands and at select outdoor/recreation businesses and retailers across Vancouver Island. Find a location here.

What we stand for:

• Our goal is to promote the love and appreciation of the outdoors, in all forms of low-impact recreation, while emphasizing a spirit of environmental responsibility in all pursuits.

• We are striving to do this with the highest quality in print, design, writing and photography.

• We believe that self-propelled recreation is the best way to enjoy the outdoors.

• We are dedicated to environmental responsibility ourselves, with our magazine printed on Forest Steward Council certified stock, using vegetable-based inks only.

• We are firm believers in conserving as much of Vancouver Island as possible for future generations. We also believe in supporting low-impact recreational access to suitable areas of Vancouver Island and the surrounding coast. We will support projects that meet our criteria, through editorial support and through donations. A portion of all profits will go towards recreational projects and conservation efforts. Applications are welcome at editorial@wildcoastmagazine.com or by mail at 2101 Cinnabar Drive, Nanaimo, V9X 1B3.
